Fleet Manager Report Detailed Description

The newly published Fleet Manager Report in Power BI provides an overview of your fleet and products to enable data-driven decision-making and profitable scaling.

As a fleet manager, having data insight enables you to make smarter business decisions. The Fleet Manager Report takes assuming out of operating your service and is currently organized into the Executive Summary, Fleet, and Products pages. Keep reading to learn more about each page!

Executive Summary Page:

The Executive Summary presents fleet KPIs, like utilization and chargeability, and provides a vital overview for a fleet manager.

With the Executive Summary, a fleet manager has an efficient overview of the fleet and is presented with key metrics like fleet status, utilization and chargeability.

Cases that should be taken a closer look at are highlighted, for example:

  • Unbooked vehicles that have been without a subscription for a significant period of time
  • Vehicles that have been in maintenance for a long time

Product demand, churn, and product interest inquiries for the last 30 days are summarized and ranked in the Executive Summary as well.

Fleet Page:

The Fleet page provides a total overview of your fleet and its standing. By clicking on the "hamburger" menu (the three horizontal lines in the top left of the page), you can see five categories of the Fleet page; Status, Utilization, Returning Vehicles, Maintenance and Sold Vehicles.

You can filter the page to your liking, for example, by department, and find commonly used definitions in the "Show Definitions" button. At the top of the report, you can define the period of information presented, for example, weekly, monthly, or current information.

Here are key features shown in the five categories included on the Fleet page:

Status:

  • Current vehicle status split based on vehicle status, subscription status and more
  • Detailed current vehicle drill down
  • Historical fleet size development
  • Future incoming vehicles

Utilization:

  • Current utilization and chargeability status
  • Historical (monthly and weekly) utilization, chargeability and estimated lost revenue (opportunity cost)

Returning Vehicles:

  • Aggregated view of returning vehicles (from subscription/customer) per day
  • Details per vehicle

Maintenance:

  • Vehicles currently in maintenance, current maintenance duration
  • Historical (weekly and monthly) overview of maintenance, including:
  • Maintenance days per period
  • Share of the fleet in maintenance per period
  • Maintenance days per make and model (total and average per vehicle)
  • Monthly / weekly breakdown of maintenance days

Sold Vehicles:

  • Details per sold vehicle (purchase cost, sales date, sales price, value loss, time in fleet, relative value loss, relative value loss per year)
  • Overall statistics (average value loss per year per make, model, average time in fleet

Products Page:

The Products page provides insight into the prices of each make and model. By clicking on the "hamburger" menu (the three horizontal lines in the top left of the page), you see three categories on the Products page.

Demand and churn:

  • Current demand and churn per make, model (last 30 days)
  • Historical demand, churn and enquiries per make and model

Statistics:

  • Detailed statistics per product, aggregated to the make and model level. Some examples include:
  • Expected subscription duration
  • Daily probability of customer churn
  • Daily probability of successful sale given available
  • Expected maintenance duration

Prices:

  • Line plot of product prices over time
  • Bar plot ranking products by absolute/relative change in price in the selected period
  • Details of price changes made to specific make and model

We created this report for fleet managers to have an overview of all data lying within their service. This data allows Fleet Managers to make educated business decisions increasing profitability and opportunities for scaling.
